Terms of service
To ensure the highest quality and a smooth experience for every customer, all orders are subject to the following policies.
1. Payment in Full Deadline
All orders must be paid in full no later than 8 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery date. If full payment is not received by this deadline, the order will not be made and the date will be released.
2. Booking and Saving Your Date
Your date is not reserved until the invoice has been paid in full. I accept a limited number of orders per day, and bookings are secured on a first-paid, first-served basis.
3. Pickup Times & Late Arrivals
Please respect the agreed‑upon pickup time so your cake is as fresh and stable as possible. If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your scheduled pickup time without prior communication, your order will be placed outside my door for contactless pickup.
4. Communication About Delays
If you know you will be late, please keep me informed. Accommodations may be made at my discretion.
5. Pickup and Delivery Locations
Exact pickup and, when applicable, delivery locations will be provided no later than the date your final payment is due. Please ensure your contact information is accurate so details can be shared in a timely manner.
6. Order Details & Design Information
All order information (including flavors, colors, design inspiration, wording including capitalization, and any special instructions) must be finalized at least 7 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery date. Changes requested within 7 days are not guaranteed and may result in additional fees or the request being declined.
7. Right to Refuse, Cancel, or Refund
I reserve the right to decline, cancel, or refund any order at any time if I feel it is necessary (for example: due to safety concerns, unreasonable requests, or circumstances beyond my control). In such cases, any payments received for that order will be refunded as appropriate.
8. Refunds
I want every order to be an amazing experience! If something goes wrong with your order that I can tell wasn't your fault– or was out of your control– I'll do my best to make it right. This may include offering a refund or another form of resolution, but please note that refunds are ultimately at my discretion. Refunds are not available if an event is canceled.
9. Wedding Cake Drop off
For wedding cakes, I offer drop‑off and basic setup only. I do not stay to cut, serve, or manage the cake during the event. Once the cake is delivered and set up, responsibility for the cake passes to the client.
10. Pickup‑Only Items
Mini cakes and mission farewell cakes (“Called to Serve” designs) are pickup‑only items unless otherwise agreed upon in writing in advance. Any exceptions will be made on a case‑by‑case basis and may include additional fees.
11. Delivery & Delivery Fees
Delivery is available for eligible orders for an additional fee. The delivery address must be provided no later than the final payment due date so that the delivery fee can be calculated and added to your total. If the address changes after this point, an updated fee may apply and is subject to my availability.
12. Order Notice
Because everything is made to order, I ask that all orders be placed at least one week before your pickup date. This helps me make sure I have the time and ingredients to give your order the attention it deserves.
If you need something sooner, feel free to reach out and ask—depending on my schedule, I may be able to accommodate last-minute orders, but this is not guaranteed and is entirely at my discretion.
